Government
Government satisfaction starts at 100. Poor Facility Grades drain it. Starting on day 4, satisfaction at 0 at the end of a non-Sunday revokes the license in Story and in Sandbox. Training Post turns that revocation off. Sundays do not change the meter and do not revoke. See Facility Grade and Story and Sandbox.
Service subsidy
The service subsidy pays after the plant sorts mail. The grant grows with interior floor tiles above 40, with diminishing returns, so a larger office raises the daily subsidy. The size term is capped.
A Distribution Center applies a 0.6 scale to that subsidy, then adds a distribution stipend (450 plus 50 per Loading Dock). Operations, then Finances, and the day summary show operating margin before the subsidy, so you can see whether the plant pays for itself. Payroll runway estimates how many wage-days your cash covers.
From day 5, the grant also requires that the plant has accepted inbound mail at least once. Three consecutive non-Sunday days with no inbound mail suspend the grant until mail arrives again.
Treasury advance
Operations, then Status, offers a one-time Treasury operating advance of 10000 after the first counter sale. You get the cash immediately. Day-end repayment is a flat 200 while the window is the only income (the tutorial, or Sandbox before the plant has processed mail). After that, repayment is at least 200 or 15 percent of that day's revenue, whichever is larger, and it cannot exceed the debt still owed.
Service policy
Operations, then Intake, sets Community, Standard, or Premium service policy. That trades price against lobby pressure. Community prices at 0.90 and raises lobby pressure. Premium prices at 1.15. Operations, then Finances, shows a weekly operating report every 7th day.
Operations, then Logistics, offers optional equipment service plans for the High-Volume Sorter, the X-ray, and the Auto Postage Machine. You pay a daily fee. Enrolled machines auto-repair at day end instead of running to fail. Weather operations days also raise the electricity bill.
Contracts and phone clearances are separate. See Deals and contracts.
